Not Me Monday: is that urine in the dishwasher?

Even if I were going to have a little Not Me Monday fun, there's no way no how  I would share the event that happened last week.  I'd just send you right over to Mckmama's where you could read about everyone else's adventures.

I mean, perhaps if I were participating I might venture to show this bagel

perched on the fireplace with a WAD of butter on it (and some chew marks, see the chew marks?  Dog or human you think?). Only God knows how this garnished bagel got there, but I know it was certainly no member of my family who put it there.  Uh. uh.

If I were in a "Not Me" kind of mood, I might even show you a picture of Bear falling off his stool during our recent camera playdate together.  I would never, ever be so in to the photo taking that I barely flinch when Bear takes a tumble and instead continue to SNAP SNAP SNAP away.  This picture does not even exist because it never would happen.

In the heat of the moment, I might remark to some of you that I pulled over the car to see some turkey wandering through a neighbor's yard BUT I would never admit to cupping my hands around my mouth and doing my best turkey call just to get their attention.  Attention so that they'd wander closer, curious and I could practice my wildlife photography skills.

Who does that?!  Not me.

and even if I did slip up and spill a little turkey gossip to you, I would never ever in a million years admit

is urine in the dishwasher.  'Cuz it's not.

Case Closed.

Fabulous! I thought that the turkey calling was great... until I saw the dishwasher! Love it! And that you let him stand there while you ran to get the camera... ah... a true blogger at heart.

Too funny...peeing in the dishwasher! I thought it was funny when my son,3 at the time, decided to poop in the backyard. His excuse...well the dog does it. Yours tops it!! What's Bear's excuse? :)

Lol! Oh my gosh I am trying not to pee my pants right now.

Yeah we never have weird random food in places either. But I must admit, none of my kids have peed in the dishwasher.. knock on wood!

What was little bear's thought process? Is he old enough/ articulate enough to fill you in?
Kids are amazing! :)

Now THAT is what I call a post title. You had me at "urine." Well, and "dishwasher."

At the risk of being gross, Bear seems to have pretty good aim. The puddle is so nice and contained. I know a number of grown men he might want to swing by and tutor. (Okay, so not a NUMBER. Totally sounds like I'm running a brothel of sloppy, misaiming males.)

Ok all, almost just peed on the dishwasher myself after reading all YOUR comments! Ah (TJ wipes tears from her eyes), let's see...

Yes Kate, Bear does have good aim and Nap Mom you got me- had to grab my camera before figuring out how the heck to handle the situation!!!! Bear's comment: "Oops". Classic.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my goodness... I am rolling on the floor laughing!!! None of those things would ever happen to me either... we had a turkey family living outside the camper last year... we enjoyed watching them grow up! Hope all is t I well... and I am so glad that I didn't have to clean the dishwasher.

What a time you're having! That's all too funny! I wish blogging existed when my kids were growing up. You will be able to keep this in the computer forever and when he starts dating you can get back at him. LOL That's where I'm at now....

I can't believe you caught that on 'film'! Hilarious! What a great photo to pull out in 15 years!

I really can't for the life of me get upset with Dominic anymore. Bear has him topped. Peeing in the dishwasher and then saying the classic "whoops" should win a potty training award. Oh my gosh that put a grin on this business trip widow's face. Thanks! I needed it.

Nap Mom said...

Hah! His response was "oops"? Even better!

These are the best "Not Me's" I have ever read. Wow, and picture proof to go along with each one?

I mean, the "falling off the stool" picture that doesn't exist was priceless-- too bad we can never get those kinds of "action" shots when we want them! But the pee in the dishwasher? The thing about that is, I KNOW my daughter would do the same if given the chance!

I gotta tell you... this was the talk of my show tonight... 1. I can't believe Bear can stand on the dishwasher door without it breaking... 2. it is just too funny!!!

That is funny stuff. You are quick on the draw with your camera. I would have been laughing too hard to even consider photographing the moment. Just wait till bear brings home his first girlfriend. You could totally embarass him with this evidence.
