You Capture: hopeful

Photobucket

Today's You Capture theme is hopeful.  I have no captions for you today.  Instead I figured we could all give our imaginations a little run for our money...

Are you ready to play along?

Let me know if you do, indeed see hopefulness in any of these pictures and then be sure to stop by I Should Be Folding Laundry for more!

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune--without the words,
And never stops at all.

- from "Hope", Emily Dickinson

That is one of my favorite quotes. I almost used it today. LOVE your pictures. SO wonderful. You made me smile!

I like the circled tomatoe catalog. I can't wait for some juicy home grown tomatoes!

Oh the rice bowl is the ultimate hope for me. Especially shown with chop sticks. One day I WILL master the art of chopsticks. I always get frustrated and run for a spoon (or spork.)

Love the poem, too! ... {dreamy sigh} I'm a sucker for poetry.

Okay... I'll play. A caption for each picture.
I hope the tomatoes I plant will actually grow this year.
I hope someone teaches me how to use these things!
I hope those humans don't know that I have been stealing their bird seed stash.
I hope there's something good in those packages.
and
I hope I can get this cookie into my mouth this time!

Those are great hopeful pictures!! Sometimes it is hard to see hope in everyday things but when you do it is a tremendous gift.

Is that really a squirrel? If so, it is the Cutest Squirrel Ever. Makes me want to squeeze its little chubby squirrel cheeks. Of course, that's probably not the smartest idea.

I most definitely see hope in these!!!! Although since I have bird feeders, my hope is that the squirrel falls off. lol
